A certification/accreditation process can take two to six months depending on the management system program and the complexity of the organization.

Management Systems certificates are issued to organisations by accredited Certification Body after a third-party certification audit conducted by the Certification Body.

Charicon Contracting Nigeria Limited will represent your organisation during the certification audit.

Management Systems certification/accreditation certificates are issued by a certification bodies (Conformity Assessment Body -CAB) accredited by an internationally recognized Accreditation Board such as the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) or International Accreditation Service (IAS) controlled and monitored by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).

A certificate issued by a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) will have three logos: one for the CAB, one for the accreditation body such as UKAS or IAS and one for IAF. 

The cost of certification/accreditation is dependent on the certification/accreditation program, complexity of the organization and the scope of the organization’s products and services.

For certification training, an International Accredited Certification Body will issue a certificate.

Charicon Contracting Nigeria Limited will train and facilitate your certification either as a Lead Auditor or as an Internal Auditor.

An Internal Auditor is certified to develop the competence necessary to establish, implement, operate, maintain, and continually improve the Quality Management System of an organization while a Lead Auditor is certified to develop the necessary competence to perform Quality Management System audits by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures, and techniques in auditing, whether first-party, second-party or third-party audits.

It is only a Lead Auditor that can conduct an external audit. An Internal Auditor can only conduct an internal audit.
